We have had great fun and met such a lovely lot of people on our cheese experience days. Some went on to make cheese but most just enjoyed the Experience with friends or because they love cheese. Good luck to you all.
We are still here and our recipes will shortly be made by Monkland Cheesmakers LTD. Here's to the continuing future of proper artisan cheese from our lovely local farmers milk!

We just wanted to say thank you to all of you for making last Monday’s Cheesemaking Experience day so special for us.We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day with you and now realise just how much time, effort, love and thought goes into making artisan cheeses. The whole day was planned so carefully around not only making the cheeses, but detailing and showing all the stages of maturing and storing the cheese. All this with time for excellent tea / coffee, cakes / biscuits, and a splendid lunch. We can’t call ourselves ‘affineurs’ but we are definitely more knowledgeable about the cheese we eat and what goes into making an excellent cheese.Thank you all again for a great day.
